About Us
For more than a decade, the Linderman family has been committed to utilizing the latest technology and resources to develop and produce the world's finest mycorrhizal products.
Upon his retirement from the USDA Agricultural Research Service in 2007, Dr. Robert Linderman once again took the reigns in the R&D realm. In addition to augmenting the mycorrhizal line of products with new innovations, he has successfully designed and implemented a cutting edge system for producing inoculum of another specialized group of mycorrhizal fungi that form an association with plants in the family Ericaceae (such as rhododendrons, azaleas, blueberries, cranberries, etc.). Plant Health can proudly say it is the only producer of such products in the United States.
Since joining the private sector, Dr. Linderman has become heavily involved in consulting and contract research. Plant Health has also greatly expanded its contract research and laboratory services. Stacey Reese, MS., Dr. Linderman's eldest daughter, has joined him in the lab and is quickly following in her father's footsteps as a valuable resource working with mycorrhizal fungi, soilborne fungal pathogens, and soil microbiology. Stacey’s husband, Doug, with a Ph.D in the biological sciences, and a minor in statistics, provides valuable assistance in experimental design and data analysis. Dr. Linderman’s wife, Lynne, oversees many of the company operations. So, Plant Health, LLC is truly a family endeavor.
